I think I'm finally getting used to how this machine works. I tried it with cardboard this time round (I LOVE kraft paper/card) and didn't shrink the design down too small. I'm still having trouble getting it to cut into sharp corners properly, but I think that's more to do with the depth that you set it at. I just need to figure out exactly what it's capable of before I go and design something too intricate that's just going to be munched.
I've conveniently got the cut out sitting over the face of my second 'practise painting.' I read somewhere recently where an artist said that faces often look terrible until they're 95% finished, so I'm going to go ahead and assume that I haven't reached the 95% point yet. ;)
